THE PERSON BEHIND THE WORK

It started with
paper and ink.

I’m Ademola. I build websites and growth systems, make things clearer, and enjoy the people and stories behind the work.

Born in 1994. Based in Lagos. Curious, bold and calm.

HOW IT BEGAN

Before the browser,
there was the press.

Around eleven or twelve, I started following my dad to printing presses. I was drawn to the paper, the ink and the designers working in CorelDRAW. When my dad became a printing-press manager, access to a computer gave that curiosity somewhere to go.

There was Paint. There was CorelDRAW. There was Yahoo Messenger. I wanted to understand how the things on the screen were made.

Blogspot introduced me to code. I would search for a solution, paste it in, and see if I could make something better. Later came WordPress. At school, I was also upgrading BlackBerry phones for colleagues.

A THROWBACK, TOO

A 504.
A part of my story.

I had an accident in a Peugeot 504. That car is part of my story, too.

LEARNING THROUGH THE WORK

Design led me to code.
Code led me to systems.

My agency work brought graphic design and website development together. At Wild Fusion, I learnt to work quickly, learn quickly and keep delivering. I grew from development roles into leading the technology team.

At CSCS, I worked as a webmaster. Today, at Seamless Technologies, my work brings together website development, technical SEO, marketing integrations, reporting and the systems behind organic growth.

I enjoy debugging and breaking a big idea into smaller, practical pieces. I’m forward-thinking by habit: curious about what’s changing and willing to learn, test and adapt. AI is part of that work, from automated SEO reporting to connecting tools that help people make sense of information. I can move between design, technology and business strategy, and I like the point where they begin to work together.

Reading is part of how I learn. So is writing by hand. I like putting thoughts in a notebook, taking an idea apart, and finding the useful part of it.

HOME, FAITH & FAMILY

The people
behind my person.

I’m married with children. Family, faith, integrity and people’s wellbeing matter deeply to me.

CONVERSATIONS & GIVING BACK

Some things matter
beyond the work.

I enjoy speaking about career, technology, family and giving back. I’ve spoken with students, church communities, HR professionals and children.

Yoruba Baptist Hymns is one of my proudest projects. I built it from scratch and continue to develop it: a practical meeting point for faith, technology and service.

I also take on pro bono and subsidised community projects. I’ve joined others to visit communities and spend time with children. Helping where I can is part of the person behind the professional work.

THERE’S MORE TO ME

Curiosity doesn’t
stop at work.

I’ve acted in a movie. I’ve travelled and tried new experiences. I enjoy trying things that take me beyond the familiar.

From design and technology to speaking and a film set, there’s room for more than one version of me.

OFF THE CLOCK

A notebook. A good book.
A little music.

My coffee habit.

I love reading, writing, music, making videos and The Big Bang Theory. I also love coffee. I drink it a lot, and my wife complains. I like throwbacks too. They remind me how much can change while curiosity stays.

I sometimes call myself a medical marvel. I’ve come through a lot, and I’m grateful to still be here, growing and building.
