IMPERIO COSMETICS / WEBSITE REDESIGN & E-COMMERCE
From discovering a fragrance to ordering it.
I redesigned Imperio Cosmetics’ existing website and added e-commerce, bringing its fragrance and personal-care range into a shopping experience people could use from home.

An established brand, a new chapter
Imperio had been making beauty and personal-care products long before this website project. Established in 1999, the company’s range spans fragrances, body mists, skin care, hair care and everyday essentials, with quality and affordability at the heart of its positioning.
My work was to build on that foundation: redesign the existing website and add the ability to shop. Give the products room to be discovered, and give customers a clear next step when something caught their attention.
From product showcase to online store
The former website introduced the brand, grouped its products into categories and provided information for prospective dealers. I redesigned that experience and extended it into a functioning e-commerce store.
I reworked the storefront, category browsing and product presentation, then connected them to WooCommerce’s cart and checkout. The project brought together the visual work, the catalogue and the mechanics of placing an order.

Making the range easier to explore
A fragrance collection needs more than a list of product names. People need to see the bottle, understand what they are choosing and move between the options without losing their way.
I worked on the product catalogue, imagery, descriptions, categories and product templates. Using WordPress, Elementor and JetWooBuilder alongside WooCommerce, I built a consistent way to present perfumes, body mists and the wider personal-care range.

A shorter journey from liking it to ordering it
That is where the e-commerce work becomes useful. A customer can browse a perfume or body mist from home, open its product page, add it to their basket and continue to checkout on the same website.
For the business, WooCommerce brings the catalogue and incoming orders into the website’s management workflow. The store gives the team’s marketing activity a direct place to send people who are ready to buy.
The site launched fully in October 2026. The brand, its products and the team’s marketing brought the demand; I delivered the redesigned website and the e-commerce capability to support that next step.
A wider relationship with Imperio
The store is one part of my work with the brand. I also developed the TAG Roll-On and Lasgidi Valentine microsites, including the data handling, quiz, matching and notification flows behind those campaign experiences.
